Postmortem Unit 1

We are Group 9 for Unit 1. our game is what I like to call it Reverse Solitaire. This is a game where you will order the cards in the opposite order in rank. rather than having the cards in the build pile being ordered from Ace (bottom) to King (top) it would be reversed so the king will go first (Reference 2). In the Tableau rather than having to place cards over another in descending rank, it would be in ascending rank and different color. For the set up of this game it would be similar to spider solitaire where 6 piles of cards have the same number of the cards (Reference 1) except no multiple decks are used. This game is meant for one player. The types of players that this is targeted for are puzzle solvers since the player has to organize the shuffled cards into order pile of card sorted by suit. The player interaction of this game is player vs game.

One of the problem I has seen after the critiques is how we had displayed our rules. many of them did not like the fact that the rules for the game were packed in a paragraph of information. I did see what they meant and the better solution to that is to separate the rules with pictures explaining the rules in a bit more depth.

There was no talk about the difficulty of the game being to impossible or to easy, so I can take that as our game being in a good difficulty range. the set up is easy to understand with the images and the sections in the play area have been clearly shown. As for going forward I will continue to playtest the game game when coming up to the revision to the rules I will try coming up with better organization for the rules and put in some images for clarification.
